About Mary

Happy to meet you! My name is Mary. I graduated from Hope College in the early 2000's with a teaching degree and have extensive experience working with children of all different ages in several different capacities. I worked as an assistant director at a learning center, a preschool lead teacher for several years, as well as a preschool assistant. I have also worked as an art teacher, and have additionally been employed as a paraprofessional in local elementary schools. Altogether, I have over 20 years of experience in the teaching and childcare field, as well as being a mom myself to an 16-year-old son. I am a fun, responsible person who connects well with children and would love to find a family to work with on weekdays! I love to plan fun activities and engage my charges in creative projects. I am also more than willing to help out with homework, as well as household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, errands, and transportation for the kids. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
