About Amanda

Working with and teaching children is a passion of mine. I graduated in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Child Development from Central Michigan University. I have worked with a variety of ages in a center and with children in their homes. I think children need that love and compassion to grow and have success in their lives. Lots of hands on activities and playing and having fun is a must and allows kids to learn so much! I was a lead teacher in a Early Head Start program for 6 years. I also worked in the public schools as a teacher in a classroom with 4yr olds. After caring for 2 families starting in 2021 I am now looking for a new family/children to form a bond with! Working school year calelendar is ideal to have the same schedule as my daughter. This allows me to do what I have a passion to do and be there for my daughter too!
