About Mary Ellen

I am an aunt to 3 boys who genuinely loves finding fun and creative new outlets for them to express themselves! I am all in when it comes to playing with kids, but also have a strong sense of empathy and understanding. I am friendly, warm, and bright, and I love using our imagination to engage children's strengths proactively. I'd describe myself as energetic, kind, compassionate I like working with kids because they are FUN! I'm looking for a job that is respectful, outlined, and rewarding. I started working with kids at 12, actively involved for 8+ yrs. In my spare time I like to go to concerts, spend time with my family and friends, draw, read, and listen to records. One thing you should know about me is that I truly have a blast with kids. I have a sense of ease about me that is very welcoming. This has been beneficial on both sides of caregiving - fun, but also effective communication. My skills include high energy and creative thinking; effective communication; highly observant.
