About Emma

I'd describe my personality as creative, grounded, and reliable! I love the energy and curiosity that kids have. The sense of awe in discovering new things, the joy found in play and fun, the way they absorb everything around them - I love seeing the world through kids eyes, and I believe spending time with children can open our eyes to new perspectives as well. I started working with kids at the age of 13! I babysat for my lovely next door neighbor, who taught me the basics of caring for babies and toddlers. I babysat for numerous families in high school, but missed out on working with kids during college. However, I have been working at a pottery painting studio the past few years where I get to interact with kids on a daily basis, as well as teach art classes! I've taught summer camp art classes in multiple mediums over the past few years, as well as monthly clay hand-building classes. I love inspiring kids to explore their creativity!
