About Mary

Hi there! I am 22 years old and a graduating senior from UNC Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science, as well as a Spanish minor. I am proficient in Spanish and would be happy to share this with your children. I have been babysitting since the age of 15, but in a more professional sense over the last three years. I have worked consistently in after-school care for a family here in Chapel Hill, and my prior experience includes frequent evening and after-school care for 5 households in my hometown. My work experience also includes 2 consecutive years as a summer camp counselor, working with ages 5-13. In addition, I have just completed a 350-hour internship at a Reggio-inspired, Spanish-immersion preschool, where I gained significant professional insight and experience with ages 0-5. I am comfortable working with kids and my calm, communicative nature allows me to easily make connections with the families I care for.
