About Shana

Hi! I'm Shana, a graduate student and experienced childcare provider seeking a full-time nanny position. I have prior experience caring for children in home, nursery, daycare, and camp settings. I also have a strong academic background and professional experience requiring discretion, reliability, organization, and excellent communication. My childcare philosophy is centered on helping children develop a genuine love of reading, exploration, and learning. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, respected, and encouraged to be curious. Rather than simply keeping children occupied, I enjoy creating opportunities for them to discover, ask questions, experiment, and develop confidence in their own abilities. I am comfortable caring for multiple children, supporting homework and learning, preparing meals, maintaining children's routines, and creating engaging age-appropriate activities. CPR/First Aid renewal currently scheduled.
