About Martha

I am a Nationally Certified Professional Tutor (NTA) and owner of Solid Foundations Tutoring. I have 30 years experience. I tutor writing, reading comprehension, fluency, grammar, vocabulary skills and math - elementary (Common Core and Traditional), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, test taking skills for all grades including SAT and ACT. I incorporate time management and study skills at all levels. I offer workshops with tips, resources, and ideas to help parents incorporate learning into every aspect of home life to constantly enrich their child's reading, spelling, and math skills. I offer basic math and reading classes for students and parents in the summer to catch up to grade level. I am patient, kind, and creative. I am fully vaccinated and have a clear background check.
