About Cheyenne

I'm a a Jane of all trades that loves nurturing young minds. I'm an advocate for literacy and am actively working to help increase literacy within my community. I know it's been rough for children since Covid, and I want to help bridge the academic gaps in education. I like tutoring because I know what it's like to be behind and confused in a course. I wish I had the privilege of having a tutor to help me in all my times of need. I feel very fortunate to be able to help other people who experience the same issues I had. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and fosters a positive learning environment. It will make my job more difficult if the people I am tutoring don't have a positive support group. I started tutoring when I was in high school. I was in a program that allowed students to tutor other students, and I discovered my love for teaching from there. My skills include Math, Writing, Social Studies, and Science.
