About Marla

I homeschooled our 5 children through high school incorporating limited childcare for other families throughout that time. Since the children are grown I have worked as a nanny for several families. I am a calm and quiet person. I enjoy the relationships that develop with parents and children and aim to care for children according to the parents' preferred methods. Most of my previous jobs have begun as infants and lasted until the children entered preschool. I am looking for a part time position with an infant that is nearby to develop another relationship with a family that is stable and long lasting.

Marla not only watched all three of my kiddos she became a trusted friend. I was blessed to have Marla care for my twins from the age for 4 months old through 4 years old, Marla cared for my children with kindness, knowledge, and support. She is a caregiver that has a wealth of knowledge and has years of experience raising many kids including her own. I also want to recognize Marla’s ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs as well as each parents parenting style. My children and I often still reflect back on our time with Marla. My kiddos have the best memories and I am so grateful that I was able to have a trusted child care provider who cared for my children the way Marla did.
