About Marissa

Hi, I'm Marissa! I have over 4 years of experience working with children in both home and school settings. I've babysat for several families and have worked in special day classes with preschool and elementary-aged students. I have a bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology and completed an internship to become a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), which has helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, and creating supportive environments for everyone, especially the pediatrician population. I have my own car, so transportation isn't an issue, I am very comfortable with pets, I do not smoke and I am CPR certified. I'm dependable, caring, and enjoy making each day fun and engaging, whether that means playing games, helping with homework, or encouraging positive routines.
