About Mariel

Hi! I'm Mariel, a full-time middle school science teacher with several years of experience working with children. As the oldest of five siblings, caring for kids has always come naturally to me. In addition to teaching, I've worked as an after-school assistant for kindergarten students, providing homework help, leading literacy activities, and organizing fun, engaging games. I also have extensive tutoring experience in reading, writing, and science, helping students build confidence and make meaningful academic progress. I'm patient, dependable, organized, and committed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. I look forward to meeting your family!
