Hi! My name is Alina, and I'm a caring, responsible, and patient caregiver with a strong background in mentoring, tutoring, and working with children and students of different ages. I graduated from Spelman College with a B. S. in Computer Science and a concentration in Health Science, and I am currently pursuing my M. S. in Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. As a SpelReads Reading Guide, I worked one-on-one with elementary students through educational activities and games, helping students progress from below grade level to at or above grade level in reading. I also mentored and tutored first-year college students at my undergraduate institution.
