Mariela is amazing! She became our nanny for 4 months after we had had a sudden change in our childcare, and we are forever grateful that she came into our lives. She gracefully was able to take care of both a then 6 month old and 2 year old at the same time, keeping them on their differing schedules and kept their days filled with joy and laughter! My husband worked from home and would always hear both of our kids just having the best time singing, reading, and playing with Mariela! She always remained calm and patient with our children, keeping their home environment positive and nurturing. As a native Spanish speaker, she also taught both of our kids some Spanish which they loved and our now 2 and a half year old still uses (and our now eleven month old still understands!). She was always punctual, arriving early and willing to lend a hand whenever we needed, truly helping to keep our house running even beyond providing exceptional care for our children. We wish Mariela could have moved with us to continue as our nanny in our new city, because finding someone with such a beautiful soul who shows love and care for your children as their own is so hard to find!! We are forever grateful for Mariela—we hope you and your family will have the opportunity to have Mariela care for your children. She is truly a gem and we miss her so much!
