About Mariana

Hi! I am a warm, caring, patient, and fun college student who loves children. I have been a camp counselor for 3-5-year-olds for the last four summers. I took three child development courses in high school and received a level 1 credential from the state. I also worked in the preschool at my high school and worked at an elementary school after care program, supervising children ages 5-11. I am a senior at Nova Southeastern University. I am in an accelerated program where I will finish my Bachelor's and Master's in Elementary Education Degree in four years. I love teaching and mentoring children and just being another caring adult in their lives. I am energetic and enjoy playing with children as well. My discipline style is assertive but kind. I take the time to listen to kids to figure out why they might be acting out.
