About Maria
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a 31-year-old nanny originally from Colombia with over 12 years of experience caring for children. I have lived in the United States for the past 7 years, working as a nanny while continuing to improve my English. Childcare is more than a job to me-it is a true passion. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and fun environment and bring patience, creativity, kindness, and positive energy into every home. With parents' permission, I also enjoy sharing my culture and teaching basic Spanish to children. I have experience with children from newborns to 13 years old and have worked in both solo and nanny share positions. Experience Highlights: • Aug 2021 - Apr 2023: Full-time nanny (newborn) • Apr 2023 - Jun 2024: Full-time nanny share • Jul 2024 - Apr 2025: Full-time nanny share • Jun 2025 - Present: Full-time nanny for twins • Apr 2026 - Present: Full-time nanny for a 3-year-old
Most recent review
What would we have done without Maria? I can truly say she is one of the most professional and experienced nannies we have worked with. We hired her for our annual 2 week trip to new york - with me back to work and my husband's office in the city, we were desperate to find someone reliable for us. She has a breadth of experience with all types of ages, helped introduce solids to our baby on our trip, detail oriented with schedules, helped with household chores, and went above and beyond for our family (bought nail trimmers and electrolyte drinks when I wasn't feeling well!). She took the baby out on outings to the library, was flexible in her schedule. She became part of the family in just a short amount of time. I cannot recommend her enough, we wish we could take her back with us to Los Angeles!
