About Mariah

Hi, there! I'm Mariah! I'm an experienced elementary teacher with 5 years of experience teaching Ist and 2nd grade. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Development, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Master's degree in Reading, Language and Literacy, and a Reading Specialist Credential. Reading is my specialty and my passion! I love helping students strengthen their phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and overall confidence as readers. I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor my instruction to meet each student where they are and help them reach their goals. I'm also happy to support elementary math and other core subjects when needed. As a new mom to a baby girl, I understand how important it is to find someone who is patient, caring, and genuinely invested in your child. I'd love to partner with your family and help your d feel confident, capable, and excited out learning!
