About Maria

I recently retired after 30 years in education, where I served as a teacher, school counselor, and educational leader supporting children and families. I am also the proud mother of a successful 20-year-old entering her third year at HU, who also wants to work with children as a pediatric dentist. I have years of experience working with youth through church ministries and previously served as a Girl Scouts troop leader for 13 years, helping children build confidence, leadership, and positive social skills. I am dependable, patient, nurturing, and truly enjoy creating safe, fun, and supportive environments where children feel valued and cared for.
