About Star

Hi! I'm Star, and caring for children is something I genuinely love. I recently graduated with a B. S. in Biology and am pursuing a future career in pediatric nursing, which has strengthened my interest in children's growth, development, health, and well-being. I have experience working with children as a youth leader at summer camp and VBS, as well as through a leadership team where I mentored and supported elementary-aged students. These experiences have taught me to be patient, responsible, encouraging, and attentive to each child's individual needs. I love keeping kids engaged through crafts, educational games, reading, outdoor activities, and creative play. I'm also happy to help with homework, meals, routines, transportation, and tidying up after the children. Safety is a priority for me. I'm familiar with basic first-aid and child-safety practices. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
