I have been working for LAUSD for 12 years. I've worked with pre-k students up to 5th grade students. I'm currently a Speech Therapy Assistant for State Preschools. I've worked with children in the Spectrum, children diagnosed with intellectual disabilities & children with emotional/behavioral challenges. Although I don't work with older children I've taken care of children up to 16 years old. I have picked up children from their schools/day cares taken them home and/or to after school activities such as tutoring, gymnastics, swimming and karate. Assisting with homework and chores is second nature to me. I love being able to help anyway I can but unfortunately I'm often unavailable in the evenings and on the weekend unless it happens to work with my schedule and it is coordinated in advance. We interviewed Margarita and she was amazing. She was on time, very kind, kids really liked her and didn't want her yo leave after spending an hour with her. She has an incredible background as well.
