Hello. My name is Sharquita. I'm from Indianapolis, IN and studied at Indiana University. All through high school and college, I was taking care of children and involved in children groups like Boys and Girls Club and Children's Bureau of Indianapolis. I've always loved being around children and it has been one of my main jobs since moving to California 4 years ago. I've been babysitting professionally for a company that caters to "high end" clients so I recognize the importance of discretion and am experienced in travel and working from hotels. I'm worked with a family of five as well as twins. I've taken acting and improv classes and love Harry Potter and try to liven things up by adding these experiences into my nanny and babysitting jobs. I've also taken baby development courses through Outside the Box and will soon be part time teacher. I'm looking for a family that will treat me as one of their own as I help their child or children grow, develop and discover the world around them

Sharquita worked with us for full days Monday-Thursday and sometimes additional time from July 2021-Oct 2022 (when the kids started preschool/daycare). This was age 10 months - 2 years old for our twins. It was great having Sharquita here to care for the kids. Having twins, the meal and nap schedule was very important and she followed our instructions without issue. She also would recommend when she noticed them needing more awake time or changes to diet which I appreciated. She was great about helping me take them to appointments and keep them active and entertained all day while we worked (from home). I never needed to intervene even though they can be a handful! We still ask her to watch them for date nights here and there and they feel so comfortable with her (which makes us comfortable!). Highly recommend.
