Hi, my name is Marcia. I have over 20 years of experience caring for children as a career nanny/preschool teacher. I specialize in infant/toddler care. My skills and experience consist of establishing feeding and sleeping schedules, sleep training, potty training, basic infant/toddler Sign Language and planned (fun) learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate, and encourages language, social skills (sharing taking turns) and large motor development. Marcia is wonderful, competent, warm, caring, and so professional. We were traveling to the west coast for work and had Marcia take care of our 10 month old for two nights. She connected with the baby quickly (who was way off schedule due to the 3 hour time change) and made us feel very comfortable leaving baby in her care. She also had good insight and advice for baby-care issues we were dealing with during our travels. I would highly recommend Marcia and hope to hire her again when I'm back in the LA area.
