About Madison

Madison is deeply committed to her role as Associate Director of Development at a Santa Barbara non-profit, where she works to provide low-income housing and supportive services for families, seniors, youth, and transitional-aged individuals. As the main fundraiser, she excels in writing grants for both foundations and federal programs. Madison recently earned her Master's in Education and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from UCSB. This accomplishment followed a rewarding year of student teaching middle and high school English. She completed her undergraduate studies at Westmont College. Her expertise in grant writing developed through her work with The Independent, Network'd Magazine, and Eyes to See. Beyond her current role, Madison has served as a college admissions essay reader for two years and has over 11 years of experience in both full-time and part-time childcare. Passionate about education, Madison is available to tutor ages K-college.
