About Karen

I have 4 years of experience, 1-3 children at the time, ages newborn-11yrs. Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), fluent in writing, reading and speaking. I do not have any pets, but I enjoy being around them. I am very active, and enjoy any sport. I graduated from Dos Pueblos High School, and later completed a transfer program at SBCC and San Diego Colleges for engineering majors. I transferred to the University of California in San Diego (UCSD) to pursue a Bachelor's in Science degree in Electrical Engineering. I moved to Santa Barbara less than 6 months ago, and wish to become a full-time babysitter or nanny. I believe is not only school's job but everyone's to show and teach respect and responsibility with little ones. I prefer not using T. V. or iPads while babysitting, instead doing fun crafts, nature/museum walks or other at-home activities to encourage their learning and development.
