About Madison

I have taught and mentored youth 12-25 through spending time together, discussions, readings, and skill development. I also take youth camping 1:1 and in groups. I usually teach sustainability and the social sciences. I have a trauma informed lens and empowerment background. I'd describe my personality as engaging, fun and joyful. I like working with youth because I care about their future and who influences them and their well being. I have been mentored by many adults that shaped me into a wise and well human and I want to give that to others. I'm looking for a job that spends time supporting youth development. I started working with youth in 2010. In my spare time, I like to hike, backpack, guide nature programs, lead grief circles, sing, and dance. One thing you should know about me is I am a compassionate human dedicated to supporting people and enhancing life through my service. My skills include conversation, care and attention to detail.
