About Madison

I have been working with kids for 7 years. I started working with kids at 12 years old when I started babysitting for a few families around my neighborhood, and I still even babysit some of them to this day! In 2021 I became a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Thunderbird. I worked there for two summers then became the nanny of one of my campers, and have been looking after her, and her two siblings for the past two summers. I find it important and beneficial to make sure kids are having fun, and being themselves around me by wanting them to see me as "the older sibling role model" in a way (I have 2 younger brothers myself), by being fun and interactive with the kids and their interests. I know how much of an influence young adults like myself can have on kids and think it's important to always be aware of that. In saying all of this, I still know how to be responsible, authoritative, and inflict good manners on kids, to show the importance of respect, good behavior, and kindness.
