About Madelyn

Hi! I have been around childcare most of my life and started helping my mom with her daycare when I was about 11 years old. I have experience with regular childcare, homework help, and planning fun but educational activities. I worked in an after-school program for 3 years, where I supervised students, helped with homework, and created my own lesson plans and activities. For over a year, I have worked as a Behavioral Support/Student Support Paraprofessional, supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially. I also have a bachelor's degree in Sociology, which has helped widen my perspective and understanding of students from different backgrounds and experiences. I am currently in the teaching credential program at CSU Stanislaus working toward becoming an elementary teacher. I truly enjoy working with children and helping them feel safe, supported, and engaged!
