About Madelyn

My name is Madelyn, I am a 21-year-old student at College of the Redwoods. I have been working in childcare for as long as I can remember as I have been a babysitter since the age of 12. Professionally I have gotten the chance to work as a nanny, paraprofessional, and an after school aide. I am currently going to school to obtain my bachelors in education, and obtain my California teaching credential in hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. I have completed 12 Child Development units, as well as in-classroom experience with children. As a paraprofessional I got to provide one on one support for children with autism and learning disabilities. With this experience I have come to learn I have a passion for child care as well as education. I value in creating a caring, hands on, fun experience for all children in and out of the classroom.
