About Maja

Hi families, I am very passionate about the work and time spent with children. I am currently majoring in child development at Cal Poly Humboldt, and planning to graduate at the end of this year. I love making lasting connections and watching the children I care for grow. I have experience working with young kids 6 months to 12 years. I have worked in a K-8 school as a RSP classroom aide for 2 years with children kindergarten to seventh grade. I have volunteered out of the country teaching English to kids. Many years ago I was an assistant coach on the local swim team. I love taking adventures outside, sensory play, making crafts, building forts, imaginary play, reading books and have my own car! I have tied in swim lessons, pick up/drop to and from school, overnight babysitting and fun outing while babysitting in current and past jobs. *References can be provided per request.
