About Madeline

Hi! I'm Madeline. I'm a recent graduate of Allegheny College, where I majored in English with a focus in creative writing and minored in Education Studies. I've been working with kids in a variety of educational settings for a few years now. Previously, I've spent my summers working at a nature camp with the Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks. I've served as both a general and head counselor, helping design activities and deliver nature related lessons. This past year, I completed student interning in an elementary library classroom, working with kindergarten through fifth grade students. I designed and delivered literacy-based lessons for class of approximately 20 kids, as well as worked one on one with individuals. I will be starting a grad program at FSU studying poetry this month, and will be in the area for at least the next two years. I am excited to get familiar with the area, and to work with you and your child!
