About Amanda

Hello! I'm a recent college graduate from Florida State University with a degree in Secondary English Education and will be a certified teacher working at Jefferson Middle High School in the beginning in August. I have a passion for both English and teaching as well as the knowledge of how various teaching strategies I've learned from my three years in college as well as my Student Teaching semester at a Middle School working with 6th grade. I've also spent a a few months teaching poetry to a few AP Lit classes. I have passed all the Florida Certification Teaching Examinations, proving my ability and knowledge, and will be officially certified this coming school year.
