About Madeleine

My name is Maddy and I am 23 years old. I graduated from CU Boulder in 2024 with a degree in psychology and am planning to pursue a career in Speech-Language Pathology! For almost 3 years, I have worked with children with Autism aged 2-10 in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) Therapy. In addition to this, I babysat children of various ages in my teenage years. I truly love working with kids and consider the building of trust and comfort one of my biggest strengths. I enjoy teaching children through games, imaginary play, movement, and their specific interests - while also setting boundaries and prompting safety. My experience and degree have also given me an extensive knowledge of child development, behavior, emotional regulation, and learning styles. Outside of work, I am an artist, love exercise and spending time outdoors, and I grew up dancing for most of my life. I am also an advanced cook and enjoy spending time challenging myself with new recipes.
