Hi! I'm a PhD student in Child Development at NYU and an experienced babysitter. I absolutely love kids of all ages, have been babysitting for nearly 2 decades, volunteering in preschool classrooms for most of my adult life, and studying child development since college. I have babysitting experience with all ages including very young babies, and I am comfortable cooking, light cleaning, helping with homework, laundry, and pets. My educational expertise is in language and cognitive development in infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. I love to do arts and crafts, read, and help kids explore and feed their curiosity. I have lived in NYC for 8 years and am very comfortable navigating the city by foot, subway, and car -- I'd be happy to pick up and drop off at appointments or events, run errands, and take your kids to any local spots they enjoy.

Mackenzie has been our #1 sitter for a long time. My children, husband and I were devastated when she relocated. She was able to meet the needs of our active 6 yr old, 4 yr old and 8 month old baby, all at the same time. Mackenzie comes with a lot of experience and has a "way" with all ages. She is very nurturing with the babies and really knows how to communicate with the preschool age children. Mackenzie understands the importance of schedules, boundaries and routines of the various families she has worked for in our area. Whether it is tummy time, arts and crafts, playground time, or transporting to sports practice, Mackenzie is fully capable of adapting herself in order to meet the needs of Families and most importantly the children she is caring for. Without a doubt, she was meant to work with children. Mackenzie is highly recommended by my husband and I and we are very thankful for what she has done for our kids.
