About Mackenzie

I started working with kids when I was in middle school, I babysat for a family of two girls often. Then in high school, I was a nanny for two children (6-month-old girl & 4-year-old boy) for two years during my junior-senior years. Throughout my years in high school I took 4 years of Early Childhood Education, where I volunteered in our school's connected preschool each week (teaching lesson plans, lunch time, nap time, etc). During my senior year, I participated in a CPR training and I earned my CDA certification! Moving to college, I've been at UF for the past two years, and during my first year as an early education major, I was an intern/student teacher in a kindergarten class. One thing you should know about me is that I love being around children! I can help around the house, cook, run errands, do activities, etc!
