I am a professional teacher. I have worked in all kinds of settings, with all ages. I have a graduate degree in literacy development. I work hard, am efficient, and think ahead. I do not drink, smoke, or use drugs. I live a simple life, free of unhealthy distractions, so I am fully present for the children who depend on me. I love to clean and make nourishing meals. I can accommodate any dietary restriction. I am mature. I raised a child, and having worked with families in many capacities, I grasp the deep need of parents to develop themselves in order to provide stability, wholeness, and a happy setting where a child can thrive. I do not reveal confidences, and I guard privacy. I live the golden rule: I don't speak ill of others. I am old-school when it comes to my cell phone; I use it only for necessary calls, which are few. I go to bed early, so my mind is clear, so I can listen attentively and make grounded decisions when caring for others.
