About Joni May

I have been working professionally with children for the past seven years, primarily supporting children with behavioral and developmental differences, and it is truly my passion. I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in psychology, along with a minor in child development and family relationships. My experience includes working closely with children and families to support communication, emotional regulation, behavior, daily living skills, and learning through patience, consistency, and compassion. I love creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments where children feel understood and encouraged to grow. Also, kids are hilarious, so that's a plus. My long-term goal is to work with children in a therapy setting, so caring for and supporting kids is something I genuinely care deeply about. It's not just a job to me :).
