About Luke

Hey, my name Luke! I've been tutoring kids of all ages in all subjects for over 5 years now. I also have many years of teaching surfing and skating to children and adults alike. I'm fluent in Spanish and English (as well as a bit of French), I love working with kids and I'm always passionate about what I'm teaching. I like to keep a calm, cool atmosphere, and I try to let my students guide the learning process. It is my belief that everyone learns best when they are taught in a way that makes sense to them, and that is different for every person. I therefore try to tap into each individual's process, and I often try to connect with them in a personal way that is beyond the material, which can allow the information to sink in more naturally, thus having a stronger and more lasting impact. Nobody likes to be force-fed information, so making the lesson relatable to the individual helps trigger the mind and keep the students engaged. I look forward to working with y'all!!
