Did you know that only 21% of students with ADHD will enroll in university, and once enrolled, only 5% of students with ADHD make it to graduation? Many students with ADHD feel overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed out when it comes to keeping on top of their schoolwork. These difficulties can later lead to students feeling like they're just not "cut out" for a school environment, discouraging them from pursuing higher education. Whatever stage of education your student is in, it's important to teach them how to work with their ADHD brain instead of against it to find what works for them - and make learning a more enjoyable process for both adult and child. I am a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, with several years of experience helping students and loved ones build their reading, math, science, writing, and study skills.
