About Lori

I am creative, patient, and passionate about teaching. I like tutoring because I enjoy the "aha" moments when kids really succeed. I'm looking for a fulfilling job. I believe that every child deserves a good education. Everyone learns differently and I enjoy honoring that. I homeschooled my children through 8th grade. I've also tutored other children. I was a substitute teacher for 2 years. I will graduate with my master's degree in teaching and education with a specialty in English language learners in June 2024 I am an artist and have a small business creating children's toys. I enjoy reading and spending time doing puzzles with my family. I'm reliable and honest. I love creating unique lessons tailored to your individual child. I am experienced in working with differently abled children. I am determined to have every child succeed.
