About Kate

Hi, I'm Kate! I am a college graduate with a double major in Communications and English Literature. I am currently working on my masters in Elementary Education and am passionate about helping students succeed. I have 2 years of experience in early literacy tutoring and 3+ years of experience tutoring all subjects in grades 6-12. I have a strong understanding of the Science of Reading curriculum and am skilled at tailoring my teaching style to fit the needs of each individual student. After leading Summer school programs for 4 years and spending my entire professional life in the classroom, I am eager help learners realize their potential and vast ability. I am patient, supportive, and dedicated to helping my students succeed. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in education.
