About Lisa

My joy is children, and I enjoy having fun with them as they learn and develop life skills needed to be productive adults. I've raised my family of 2 boys and 3 girls and now our children are raising their children. There's nothing better than watching their faces light up when they make new discoveries in the environment around them. I feel that reading books to them and exploring the outdoors with them is key to nurturing their curiosity and development. A good sense of humor, flexibility, and routine are essential. For 10 years, as a Degreed Paraprofessional, I had the joy of teaching Spanish and Russian children from PreK-12th grade, the English curriculum as a second language. I taught CE Spanish at Jacksonville State University. Additionally, I was also assigned to use my communication skills to teach various business management teams Conversational Spanish. I was responsible for cultural diversity among the faculty and feel it's an integral part of any child's development.
