About Katelyn

I like working with kids because I feel that I am skilled at keeping them safe and supporting healthy development especially mentally. I am in college to be a child psychologist so I am very passionate about teaching/guiding children. I started working with kids when I was 17, my first job was in a daycare with ages 1-14. I've worked in my Church nursery since I was 15 and buddied with a child who has special needs. Most recently, I babysat for a family with kids 7&4. In my spare time, I like to enjoy nature, exercise, read, go to different coffee shops, hangout with my friends, paint, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I am a babysitter who takes every moment as a moment to subtly teach kids something. I like to send parents updates or photos throughout the day (if you want them!). My skills include ensuring safety, promoting learning and flourishing, and being a safe comfortable person that your child feels comfortable around and able to have a good time.
