About Lisa

Hey! my name is Lisa. I've been performing In Home Senior Care for the past 6+ years. Through out my experience I've learned so much, but the two most important things have been the keys of care: compassion and empathy. Caring for another person is an act of displaying kindness and concern for others, but empathy is what allows you to understand their world and compassion allows you not only to understand how someone is feeling but to also have an appreciation for it. I believe that when these things are merged together in a place like home, not only does it enhance the care being provided but also the life being lived. This field of work has given me an opportunity to really understand how people get better at the place they'd like to be most and that's home. My various education and training has led me to not only provide professionalism, but also the understanding needed to help assist during the transition and challenges aging can have on the mind, body, and soul.
