Hello there! Thank you for your time and interest in private tutoring! I am excited to talk with you more about what I can help you or your student to achieve. While I have two Bachelor degrees in English (Literature and Writing), I have always loved and excelled in math, as well. I taught college-level English for a bit in Atlanta before moving to North Carolina, and plan to begin doing that again in the Fall. I pride myself on making learning fun, and have been told many times that I have the 'patience of Job!' I like to teach at a pace that keeps students engaged and enjoying it, where it becomes something they want to do, not feel forced to do or feel frustrated. I also have two teenage daughters who are both on an accelerated track (my 13-year-old is in 10th grade classes and my 15-year-old is in AP and all advanced core classes). I feel like I have a pulse on teaching children of all ages. I like to keep things both calm and upbeat concurrently. Thank you!

Lindsey was amazing in so many ways. It was so helpful to have someone who understands children as she was so patience with mine while juggling homeschooling my 3rd grader and kindergartner at the same time. She also took them on a few outings for ice cream and the park. I love that she has the experience and thinks like a mom and my kids adore her! She was with us for 3 months until we returned to Florida in the fall. Your children are in great hands with Lindsey - I would not hesitate to recommend her.
