About Lindsay

I recently moved to Poway in September of 2023 and my daughter was born in January 2024. My husband is military, so we have lived in a couple states, but I'm originally from Maine. I went to school at the University of Maine and received my bachelor's in child development. After graduation I was an assistant teacher at a Montessori school working with 3-5-year-olds. I moved to Florida in 2019 and continued working with Montessori. I have always loved the methods used in their classrooms and the independence children gain from them. I was a head teacher with a Head Start program and then did a career change and worked as a Child Welfare Case Manager. I have worked with children for years and love providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in their early years of life. I'm hoping that the families I work with don't mind that my daughter will be with me full time. I think it's a great opportunity for her to be around children since they learn best from one another.
