I am a 47-year-old stay-at-home mother with two daughters: ages 23 and 19. Four years ago, we moved from Houston to San Diego for my daughter's college education. We now live in an apartment in University City. I have worked in childcare for over 10 years. I have worked at different Montessori schools, including Armand Bayou Montessori School and Primrose Montessori. I worked in the Primrose school infant and toddler room for over two years. In 2016, I quit my job and began looking after a baby boy in my home. He came to my care when he was 6 months old and stayed with me until he started preschool. Since then, I have cared for four additional children individually in the same manner. I adore babies, and I look after them as my own. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. Widya has been a part of our family for the last three years. I cannot recommend her more highly. She came to us during a big transition in our lives and has helped us every step of the way. She has cared for and taught both our daughters with love and kindness and has always striven to give them the best care she can. Widya has two grown daughters of her own and has experience as a preschool teacher in a Montessori school. Both of our girls took very naturally to her, and she cared for them just as she would her own kids. Our youngest daughter learned to crawl, walk and speak as well as many other important skills with Widya's help and guidance. She even participated in physical therapy sessions that were recommended by the county. Although she is soft spoken, Widya speaks volumes with her determination in helping our children. She is incredibly dependable, flexible, and caring; her presence in our lives has been a blessing.
