About Linda

Hello, I am a mom, a stepmom and a nana who has always felt raising a child is the most important thing I could do. I spent my younger years providing day care while raising my own children. After 21 years working in an office which I still do part-time I have also been able to return to child care on a part time basis. I have worked for 1 family with 2 girls (20 months and 4yrs at the time I started who are now in school. I am caring for a 23-month-old boy part time. I have recently renewed my CPR/first aid certification and have experience with food allergies/safety. I have 1 dog so I am not only comfortable with pets but understand they are family too. I think encouraging a child's imagination is important which means lots of book reading and play activities like coloring and outdoor activities. I like to take long walks and explore the world around us, smell the flowers, listen to the wind and bird songs. Singing silly songs and crazy dance moves are encouraged too.
