About Leslie

I have always loved working with children! As soon as I could, I began babysitting kids in my neighborhood. At age 16, I began coaching gymnastics and taught children from ages 2 to 20. I also love working with children with disabilities. One of my brothers has autism and this led me to want to help others with disabilities. While attending college, I provided respite services to individuals with autism, Down Syndrome, blindness, cerebral palsy, and other developmental disabilities. In 2005, I graduated with my BS in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I taught second grade for six years, and then went on a volunteer mission to Wisconsin. I am excited to meet you and your children!
