About Lauren

I believe that children, just like adults, grow and succeed where they feel cared for and competent. When student's struggle with a subject, especially in math, it is difficult for them to be confident and motivated in regards to their education. I currently hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Middle Level Math. I have been tutoring school aged children of all ages and subjects after school for the last 5 years. I am a licensed in Elementary Education and Middle Level Math in the state of Minnesota. In addition, I have worked individually and in small groups with students with special needs, including emotional behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, autism, and ADHD.
