About Lauren

Hi! This past year I worked as a paraprofessional and literacy aide at an elementary school. I got to work with children in grades K-3 who were on IEPS and also with kids who were struggling with subjects such as reading, writing, and math in the classroom. I would work with teachers to create lesson plans to teach for intervention groups, and provide extra support with reading and literacy by providing additional instructions on phonics and language acquisition skills. During my time here I was able to receive dyslexia training and also become very familiar with different learning programs that benefited the students I worked with greatly. I am a very patient, empathetic, kind, and genuinely love getting to work with children. I am determined to provide a fun and also productive learning space for your child/children and to see success in their learning!
