About Lauren Joo

Hi there! My name's Lauren Joo and I'm looking forward to working with your family whether it's just for one day, short term, or long term. I am a former elementary school teacher (taught 4th and 5th grade in Fairfax County). I also taught pre-k to 3rd grade at a learning center for several years. Currently, I'm taking a break from teaching and instead do private tutoring and have a flexible schedule. I also have years of experience as a babysitter/nanny caring for younger kids (ages 1-10). I will care for your child(ren) so that they are happy, engaged, and safe. Please feel free to let me know any routines you follow, any likes/dislikes that your child may have, or anything you'd like to share with me. During care of your child, I'll respond to your calls/texts right away. I'm also happy to provide updates as frequently as you'd like.
